Equipping with Real-Life Stuff

Ed Delph's "The 5 Minute Miracle" is made up of real life stories which validate the power of God's Word when personally adapted in our everyday life experiences. The book is a compilation of articles taken from Ed's newspaper column "The Church-Community Connection." Each chapter represents one column and includes a story with a spiritual principle to apply or follow.
There are inspirational stories on handling adversity offering wisdom for getting through times of crisis. Other chapters have practical reminders such as the difference between urgent and vital, as well as vignettes with central characters who demonstrate authentic Christianity.
Ed is a gifted communicator. His writing offers entertainment, inspiration, encouragement, and motivation. It is dynamic and life transforming. His subtle humor had me frequently moving from slow smiles to wide grins and from quiet laughter to side splitting guffaws.
I enjoyed taking a moment after completing a chapter to stop to reflect on the new insights, spiritual nuggets, and life changing principles I had just gained. The short chapters are relevant, funny, and engaging providing spiritual insights for everyday issues.
"The 5 Minute Miracle" has whetted my appetite for more of Ed Delph.

Thought Provoking yet it is funny! A great read!

The back cover says "Take five fun momvent each day", well that did not happen. This is rarest types of books, one that I kept going back and reading and in less than 24 hours I am done. More importantly this book has driven home many points that I have been struggling with. (Being Intimidated by Fear page 85 is awesome!)
Fun, relaxing, inspiring, meaningful and thought provoking.
