Secrets to God's manifest presence

Passion for God's manifest presence is the theme coursing through Tommy Tenney's veins- first with his series of God chasers books and now with his latest release Open Heaven. I believe that God birthed this declarative mandate(that takes him across the nation and continents) in him to help the body of Christ understand what true worship really is. Open Heaven's mission restores the passion of worship and allows us to see the heart of David and why his earnest radical worship was a sweet smelling aroma in God's nostrils.
Tenney desires us- the body of Christ- to take off our carnal clothing and bear our naked souls to God, worshipping in Spirit and truth. "The church's reluctance to pay the seemingly high cost of intimate worship is the root cause of our barrenness.". An occasional visitation from God is now common place among spirit filled believers. Tenney however desires in his book to propel you higher, desiring you to build a mercy seat for His glory so that He desires to stay. Our broken, repentant hearts can purify our worship and create openness in the heavens. Dear Reader, this is a very good book. As always, Tommy Tenney's books are good to read and very helpful. IF you have the book: GOD 'S FAVORITE HOUSE, then you don't need to purchase this book. It is the same book!

The One Thing

Tommy Tenny wrote the multi-million dollar God Chaser series. Tommy's book, Open Heaven: The Secret Power of a Door Keeper, will probably follow the success of the God Chaser series. The presence of Almighty God is the focus of becoming a door keeper. Father loved David's Temple because of the memories built there and the passion exhibited by 24/7 worship and prayer. Like the TV commercial, when the lady says: "Where's the beef?", Some may say "Where's the gold and the silver?" David's temple was nothing compared to the other temples Israel had seen. "Just a tent", many say. Yet this temple was the temple Father loved the most. You see, the gold and the silver were in the heart of David himself, gold and silver lasting for eternity.
Dr. Reba Rambo-McGuire writes in her note of dedication to Tommy's book: "I remember sitting in his parents' lovely dining room and his gracious mother gently scolding him, 'Tommy, let the grownups get a word in, sweetie. Someone else may have questions.' But truthfully, no one else's questions seemed as honest and poignant as his. I marveled, "What a remarkable young man." This same Tommy, now grown up as a man, wonders "Why are there 24/7 convenience stores in America, but churches are open only a couple hours on a weekend?" Perhaps because their product is so inferior to what it could be.
Tommy would want to know if your "Temple" is unveiled. Are you broken and repentant, or are you estranged from your betrothed? Are you "All in", or just an admirer, but not a follower?
