About the Author
Mahesh Chavda grew up in Mombasa, Kenya, the son of a prominent Hindu teacher. At age sixteen he had a dramatic encounter with Christ and committed his heart to Jesus. Bonnie Chavda is executive director of Mahesh Chavda Ministries International. She has served with her evangelist husband in global mission work since 1980. Together they have written numerous bestsellers, including Only Love Can Make a Miracle, and have led more than 750,000 people to Christ around the world. Mahesh and Bonnie are cofounders and senior pastors of All Nations Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

good, but not groundbreaking.

what stood out for me most about this book was how clearly the author's love for the Lord comes across to the reader. Pastor Chavda writes with real excitement about the Lord.
the book was an encouragement toward faith in a loving God.
it is not, in my view, the definitive book on healing. for that i would look to Bosworth's Christ the Healer which is, without a doubt, the best on the topic that i know of. even TL Osborne's Healing the Sick borrows heavily from Bosworth's book.
for Christian inspiration, and faith building this book is great. for healing there are some good points, but others offer a more comprehensive treatment of this extremely important and powerful subject.
4 for the author's faithful and loving declaration of the truly wonderful and extravagant God that we serve.

woth the read

This book is written in a typical Mahesh style. He is very down to earth and easy to understand. Mahesh shares that the God of love wants the best for his creation. He doesn't care what they look like, who they are or their pedigree. He just wants to show them how much He loves them!
We have a tendency to make healing a works based exercise instead of allowing ourselves to be a conduit for the work of the Holy Spirit. This book will encourage those who believe in healing through the Holy Spirit to be bolder in their efforts. A great book to `build up our most holy faith.'

The simplicity of this book made it an easy read and the revelations to sink deeply into my heart. It reveals truths from the Bible and encourages me to remember that the Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Hebrews 13:8
