In the words of the author: The principles in this book are intended to guard and to guide: To guard your daughter from a Bozo guy and to guide her toward an man worth waiting for - a modern Boaz. At the end of each chapter is a question and answer section with the unique point of how as a mother(or woman of influence) are you modeling these things of God that you want your daughter to have? So it ends up being both for you and her -separately and as a team.
I began to fall in love with this book from the preface and knew if things kept going as they started, it was going to get a 5 Star rating from me.

I can now say: Love, Love, Love this book!!! Wow, what a book this is. Honest in a tasteful, Biblical way; she talks about things that we all wish we had known as young people. Even a few subjects people are afraid to even approach. This is something that can now be share with our kids (even the grown ones) our grandchildren and young people we care about (spiritual children). There was so much good information in this eBook that its seems like I highlighted quite a bit of it. I can see a lot of areas that can help me even as an adult and one that has been following after Jesus for quite a few years. I can see that this book is offered for younger kids too ( different age ranges); sounds like the best gift that I can give to help"Train up a child" Do you want to know something that surprised me? This book could also benefit young boys and men. I'm going to leave this discussion with a quote that really stood out to me.

Very real and helpful

WOW!!! I am very impressed with this guide for moms. I was that teenager myself not so long ago and the teen's straggles that are brought up in this book are very real in today's world. Moms, read this guide, let it slap you in the face with truth and reality because believe me your baby isn't perfect and her friends aren't at fault. It is your fault that she isn't the lady in waiting for a perfect man that she is suppose to be. We- mothers have a great responsibilities towards our children, shelter and food don't even begin to cover all you have to provide for them. you have to give all of yourself because up in heaven God isn't going to ask you how many professional degrees you got and how many jobs you worked...all God is going to ask is - where are the children that I gave you?
teenagers are at the point in their life where everything seems upset-down, they need someone to love them and guide them. Don't rely on schools and church to do your job.
My mom was my best friend.... she lectured us as children but as we grew up that time that used to be a lecture turned into time where she wanted to know us. I always felt at ease to share all my secrets and little crashes on guys with her, because she didn't judge, she didn't go and talk behind my back, she listened and laughed with me and when needed she gave advice that I took to heart. I am blessed to have her I know-- I got my Boas, very romantic and a pillar of faith, and God sent him to me because I had a mom who thought me to wait for him.
I pray that as my children grow I will be able to be that mother for them.
I got this book because my niece turned thirteen last month and she is turning into a little rebellion but we are close and I wanted a fresh reminder how to help her. I'm very glad this book is keeping me on the right path. I am so buying the hard copy for my sister.

A Lady is Just a Lady

The book was interesting and enlightening to read whether you are raising a child, teen or not. The book embraces femininity and respect in a delightful way. Every child is precious and every daughter should be cherished. The book explain and defines heart matters that matter to every female no matter what their age. It would have been nice that every woman had a family member or leader speak the truths that are outlined in the book.
I have recommend the book to several women raising teens. Sometimes parents, grandparents and leaders think that everyone understands that men and women are different; however with TV and media teens need to hear biblical truths that can lead them through an easier path in life. Each and every lady deserves a Boaz in her life that will love and respect her. The book defines being a lady, a Godly lady and knowing when friendships and relationships are encouraging and uplifting and knowing when they are not.
