Need more of God's power in your life?

Danny McDaniel shares his story about his experience with the Holy Spirit, from not knowing who He is to walking in God's power. He goes on to ground the Holy Spirit's work and baptism biblically and explain what can (and should) happen in a believer's life after baptism in the Holy Spirit. Danny reminds us that the experience won't be the same for everyone, because if it were, we'd be keeping God in a box. However, everything in the Holy Spirit is available to every believer.
As Danny bases this book in the Bible, the things that he says should happen are the same kinds of things that Jesus did and that the early believers walked in: miracles, healings, discerning spirits, casting out demons, speaking in and interpreting tongues, prophecy, words of wisdom and knowledge, and all the gifts of the Spirit from 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. Danny includes stories of personal experience for many of these gifts.
I feel that sometimes the author got a little off track, wandering from the focus of his chapter or the theme of his book, but he does return. I thought the volume was well-edited. I noticed no misspellings and few grammatical errors.
Why I started this book: I was given a free digital copy in exchange for a review with my own opinion of this book.
Why I finished this book: It was not only a how-to manual for receiving the Holy Spirit in your life, but it also explained about changes in your life that can occur through His influence. It reminded me that I can walk in power to overcome darkness in my life, and that God can bless others through me as I'm yielded to Him.

Exactly what I've been searching for!

This book covered every topic I've been questioning, researching, and wondering about for the last year or so. It was simply put, the explanations were easy to comprehend, and the subjects were concise but thorough. I devoured this entire book in one day! I was so excited to have found such a wealth of information all in one book. Danny encourages us to search deeper on many of the topics covered in this book and gives scripture references and topics on which to begin our search. I'm excited to dig even deeper! I will recommend this book to all who are desiring a deeper revelation!

The title says it all. This book is an excellent place for the new Christian or the Christian who knows that there is something missing in his life to see what sort of power is actually available to us, if we only will! We are incredibly blessed! I was in my 60's before I found out! Be smarter than I was!
