The Good Fight of Faith

Alan Vincent uses biblical truths to encourage believers to pray and not faint. He teaches believers how to recognize and detest all unbelief. The author also uses personal testimony to help the reader understand application of God's word. The chapter that enlightened me the most was "Faith for Compensation and Restitution." This chapter gives biblical insight on how to understand our legal rights through Christ in heaven's court. This book challenged and encouraged me to press on in prayer. It is a must read for those who feel discouraged with unanswered prayer.

Fighting the Good Fight of Faith

Alan Vincent has written "The Good Fight of Faith" to show how the power of faith can transform the Church so that it can do the works of Jesus. It is Vincent's purpose to help the reader understand that faith, when properly developed, fully understood, and skillfully used is capable of winning great victories over evil and all the forces of darkness in the world today.
Using rich Biblical illustrations, sound teaching, contemporary examples, and personal experiences, Alan defines faith, points out the source of faith, and the crippling power of unbelief.
The chapter entitled "Acting in Faith" is dynamic, a profound study on the importance of stepping out in works of faith. Alan draws lessons from James and Peter in the area of faith compensation and restitution. He reflects on the life of Jesus and uses Him as the greatest example of faith a Christian can follow.
The final chapter "Moving from Faith to Faith" is practical, informative and transforming. Vincent describes three levels of faith and a progression of specific steps to move from one level to the next.
This is Solid Biblical teaching, well written and organized for practical application and assimilation, a book that will build you up, impact your life, and strengthen you. Alan's writing is anointed, informative, inspirational, and life changing.

Faith is the currency of the Kingdom

Without faith it is impossible to please God. I'm in the process of rereading this book, because it has opened my eyes to so many common truths, but Alan somehow has a way of explaining them so that my head easily agrees with my heart. Alan uses many biblical references to illustrate the way to live and operate our lives with more faith.
Alan does a great job of explaining what faith is, how to get faith, and how to use the faith we have. Great read, great insights.
