Excellent overall, with only some minor flaws

This is an excellent teaching set on how to receive healing for the wounds in your soul by applying the glory light of Jesus. Souza's presentation is simple yet profound. I've never heard any other teaching quite like it. The gist is that we apply 1) the blood of Jesus to sins (whether our own or those of other people which have wounded others), in conjunction with personal repentance and forgiveness, and 2) the glory light of Jesus to wounds in our soul. You need both in order to receive complete healing. Souza also stresses paying attention to your dreams and/or visions, which God can use to alert you to places in your soul that need healing. Once any sins have been covered with Christ's blood and any wounds healed in His light (but *not* before these 2 steps have been completed), then if the Holy Spirit reveals to you that any demonic entities are present, you may command them to leave and harm no one, using your authority in Christ.
There are some minor flaws in Souza's teaching, however. Here are a few:
1) She teaches that wounds are always caused by sin. That is certainly not true. What if a tornado blows away your house, or you get bitten by a rabid animal, or you get within an inch of a goal that you've dreamed about and worked hard toward for years and years--and then it fails to materialize? Are such wounds caused by sin? No--they're simply the result of living in a fallen world.
2) She teaches that demons are attached to wounds. That is an oversimpification. She should clarify the matter by stating that demons are not *always* attached to wounds. They *may* be, but are not necessarily. It seems to me that the deeper the wound, the greater the likelihood that demons could be involved. But for more shallow, "everyday" wounds, it's far less likely.
3) She doesn't tell you exactly how to discern whether there are any demons present in a situation. Ideally, this should be done with the Holy Spirit's gift of discerning of spirits, one of the 9 gifts of the Spirit. Otherwise, how do you really know if demons are present and/or when they're gone?
4) She teaches about how to deal with "demonic kings." Does the Bible ever record anyone making war with demonic kings? I don't think so. The apostle Paul did talk about "principalities and powers," etc., but nowhere does the New Testament record any apostles directly making war with such higher entities. I believe that this kind of warfare is the responsibility of God and His holy angels, not individual believers. To try to make war with demonic kings directly is not only a mistake IMO, but a dangerous one at that, which could get a person into very serious trouble. Now, if the Holy Spirit reveals to you specifically, through the discerning of spirits, that a "demonic king" or another higher demonic entity is present, you may command it to leave in Christ's name, assuming, of course, that you have taken away its legal rights to be there first. But otherwise, Christians should not be learning any "demonic hierarchies" (a practice also called "spiritual mapping") or actively trying to confront such evil beings, because none of the New Testament saints ever did so--or at least the Bible doesn't record such activity.
5) She talks about "binding" any demons that may be present until you get your soul wounds healed. There is no biblical record of anyone ever "binding" a demon. The terms "binding" and "loosing" in the Bible have absolutely nothing to do with demons. Furthermore, she states that if you're feeling confusion, anxiety, and distress, those emotions are due to the spirit of witchcraft attached to your wounds. Not only is such a blanket statement inaccurate, it's also dangerously superstitious. Emotions such as confusion, anxiety, and distress are exactly that--emotions. There may or may not be demons involved, and the only way to know for sure is through the Holy Spirit's gift of discerning of spirits.
6) She states that you can repent for another person. Again, does the Bible ever record this? Maybe she should clarify exactly what she means here. Now, you can confess the sins of another person and apply the blood of Christ to those sins, breaking their power over other people. And you can also direct Jesus' glory light onto another person to help heal their wounds, but I don't think you can directly repent for another person, or at least someone who isn't a Christian already. I could be wrong, of course, but that's just how I see the matter. Otherwise, instead of preaching the gospel, why don't we just repent for everyone else on the planet?
7) Although Souza means well, she seems to overestimate the speed at which an average person can get their soul wounds healed. Let me clarify that statement a bit. She talks about how she applied the glory light of Jesus for about 20 minutes to another woman's soul, who immediately got healed of a deep wound that she'd been carrying around for 40 years. I would call that a miracle. I think one explanation is that Souza's ministry carries a specific anointing, and that anointing was working through her to bring healing to that woman. Would most people, praying at home, get healed that quickly? Probably not. In fact, I would say that for an average individual praying at home for such a deep wound in his or her soul, it might take months, or even years possibly, to receive healing. Furthermore, that person might require outside prayer help (or even counseling) too, and could also need to go through an extended process of grieving, gaining godly wisdom and insight, etc. In a nutshell, the whole process may be considerably more involved than how Souza presents it. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but she needs to be careful that she doesn't raise people's expectations too high in terms of timing, or else they could end up getting so frustrated that they just give up trying to receive healing for their souls. Also, not everybody can pray for themselves, but thankfully God has raised up many through whom His healing power can flow.
Anyway, those are some minor points that need addressing, but overall Souza's teaching is excellent and something that I would highly recommend. And best of all, it really works! :)
A few more points. Souza's CD is rather short, so obviously it can only cover so much. But there are other helpful ways to receive God's healing for your soul as well. In her book "The Healing Gifts of the Spirit," Agnes Sanford recommends strongly the healing power of nature. She says that even inanimate objects like rocks radiate God's divine energy, so it's a good idea to spend as much time outdoors as possible, preferably in places with lots of trees, plants, etc. In fact, the sunlight, like the Glory Light of Jesus, can be a source of God's healing power too. And since body and soul are connected, it's also important to take good care of your body. Specifically, you need to get adequate sleep, and you should also try to do some moderate exercise, such as walking (if possible). Finally, what you eat is of utmost importance. You can't feed your body junk and then expect both it and your soul to prosper. Of course, it's OK to splurge occasionally, but for the most part you should be feeding yourself the healthy food that God always intended. For more about God's plan for eating, please see the excellent book "The Maker's Diet" by Jordan Rubin. It contains a lot of shocking revelations, such as the fact that saturated fat is actually good for you. Remember how the Bible mentions "the fatted calf" and "the fat of the land"? :) Anyway, it's an easy read, and I highly recommend it.
Here are a couple of books about soul healing that I would recommend as well:
1) "Your Dreams: God's Neglected Gift" by Herman Riffel. Out of print, but you can probably find it used online. He has other helpful books too.
2) "Restoring the Christian Soul" by Leanne Payne. She has many other excellent books as well. This is one of the best books about soul healing out there.

life changing

I was pleasantly surprised at Katie's revelations on how to heal your life. Wow. She taught on stuff that I have been trying to explain to my family for years. My mother watched it and it changed her unbelief systems! Finally, someone who communicates the connection between body, soul and spirit, and how they effect one another.
