Excellent information about automotive structures analysis and design for a general undergraduate course and very well structure

I first found the title in the SAE International blog and consulted the content. Because I am a teacher of Strenght of materials and Automotive Structures Analysis at Universidad Politécnica de Puebla (México) at Automotive Systems Engineering, I liked the content of the book.
Now when I have reviewed it, I am very glad for my selection. The actual content corresponds to my expectatives 100%. Actually I am using it as a reference book in the Automotive Structures Analysis course.

Top Automotive Engineering textbook

A well executed textbook with a sufficient blend of real world applications mixed with theory and derivations. The author takes a System Engineering perspective on how to translate the voice of the customer down into body design requirements. A few example problems are used following each subject to briefly reinforce the topics with described earlier. This is one of the few Automotive Engineering textbooks that I have saved in my collection as I expect it to be useful for decades to come.
