Small Books but Great Learning Material

I bought this along with the Handwriting and Writing ones. They are very small but great learning material that my son is enjoying . He calls it his homework. It has perforated pages so they can be put on the fridge :) Can't beat the price and it shipped quickly. I took a picture next to a regular size one so you can see how small it is.

Changed the way our church does evangelism

Shortly after several of the pastors of my church read this book we did our very own 'Treasure Hunt.' There were a good number of participants that were skeptical. They weren't skeptical after the treasure hunt ended and we had seen several people's lives touched by the power and goodness of the Father.

I read this book about a year ago, but picked up another copy at the Bethel Healing School in Valparaiso Indiana at which Kevin was a keynote speaker. Part of the school was a large scale treasure hunt with all 450+ participants of the conference hitting the streets for a couple hours. The results? Awesome. God's goodness came in powerful ways including healings:

1. A man's wrist was healed from a repetitive stress injury that caused him incredible pain. (Witnessed by a family member of mine who was also at the conference).
2. A woman's tongue was healed from a tumor
3. Two teenagers had all the pain in their broken bones taken away
4. A man with a tumor behind his eye healed. He was then given a vision test and found that he could now see better than before he hag gotten the tumor! (This healing was witnessed by a great number of pastors and leaders at the Q&A after the conference).

Kevin carries an equipping anointing for turning people towards a life pursuing God's Treasures. This book teaches you how to listen for and hear God, and how to act on what He speaks. It has changed the way our church does evangelism, and has had a profound impact on me as a person.

A relatively quick read, but well worth your time, THE ULTIMATE TREASURE HUNT is one of the best books I've ever read on evangelism. I can heartily recommend it to anyone who want's to learn to partner with the Holy Spirit to reach those desperate for a touch from the Father.

couldn't put it down!

This book INSPIRED & EQUIPPED me for supernatural ministry. It reassured me that normal people really CAN hear from God regularly and minister to others supernaturally. Our church has started doing regular "treasure hunts" & we bring our kids along! What amazing testimonies come from this simple evangelism technique! It is easy to read, the technique is simple, but the impact is monumental. I would recommend this book to any Christian, especially the ones who are HUNGRY for more! Kevin Dedmon lays out simple guidelines, and backs them all up with scripture. Can't say enough about this book.

Great book about how God wants us to go out into the world and bring the lost into His Kingdom. God wants everyone to be saved. God's treasure is His people. He wants us to hunt down the lost for Him.

God Inspired! A Must Have!

I am totally amazed at the revelation that God is pouring out on mankind in these last days. It is as if God has heard the cry of mankind and is answering it and using anointed authors to share it with us. Some of the books that I have been privileged to read and review have caused me to grow with leaps and bounds in my Spiritual walk, and I am thankful. This new book by author David Herzog , Glory Invasion, joins the ranks in my opinion, as one of the most encouraging, exciting, and spirit-charged books that I have read. The revelation that he brings to the table I can only call life-changing. There have been several times lately, in certain books that I have read, where I actually feel the excitement of the Spirit of God inside of me as I digest the revelation that I am receiving, this was one of those times. I found myself reading several pages and actually putting the book down so I could meditate on the wonder of the words that I had just read. As a Christian, nothing is more important than following where God is leading, and being in the depths of the flowing waters of His Spirit; David shares where God is going and how to follow and be one with Him and His Glory. Outstanding!

In this work you will understand how creative miracles happen, how to receive supernatural provision and help in awakening your prophetic destiny from its sleep. I love Math 4 Today. The only reason that I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the way the tests sometimes tests questions in ways that haven't been introduced. For instance, it may put a problem on the practice sheet that asks the child what time it will be in 20 min. if the time now is 1:20. Then on the test it may ask them what time it will be in 45 minutes if it is 1:45. To me they should be able to practice going past the hour if that is what is going to be tested. It usually doesn't do this for more than one question on the test. I always count it as a bonus question when the do this. Overall, this is a great book that covers many, many standards. I use it daily.

I love this book because of the transparency of the authors. I am a worship leader and require anyone who is considering joining us in ministry to read this book. Jeremy and his wife were very traditional in their approach to church, music, God and loved everything in a nice neat box. God had a different plan. This book beautifully describes the process the Sinnotts went through from "frightened" to "intimate". The title sums it up - what's your motivation? Are you trying to impress someone with your musical talent or are you trying to bring other people in God's presence through worship? You will love this book.

I too like Jeremy faught with what I believe was the only model to preach... three point sermons, three verse hymns, etc. This book allowed me to see that God wants that man made mold to be broken to reach the people who dont see everything so linear or religious. God wants us to focus on him and commit every work, worship or act to Him and Him only. If you are seeking a more intimate relationship with God, this book with set you on the right journey. Scriptures selected are helpful and back up Jeremy's vision.

Will Help Some, But Negatives Outweigh Positives

My wife has a lot of issues with fear being diagnosed with PTSD, and so when she saw this book, she wanted to get a copy of it. I always try to get a book for her so I complied and I think it has helped her out greatly. For that, I am grateful. She also wanted me to read it then. I have a constant fear of water which really affects us when we go to the pool where she's swimming to be healthy. I never learned to swim and I think it's due to going to the beach as a small child and being introduced to the undertow by surprise. A great fear of water came in then.

I decided to honor my wife's request and go through the book then. I am thankful it helped her out, but for me, I just didn't have the same result. While I appreciate Rabbi Schneider's constant admonitions to not be afraid and that we need to put our trust in God, I found where this was being explained, that there was much that was lacking.

The problem for me is that so much of it was experience-oriented. I don't mean in the sense of the idea that Schneider tried such and such technique specifically in response to a fear, but rather that he talked about his own personal experiences that could in no way be shared or experienced by most other people.

Namely, this happened in the accounts of dreams. I always get cautious when people seek to make a lot of dreams and it looks like Rabbi Schneider quite regularly thinks he has dreams that have a great symbolic meaning. Many of these dreams and their interpretations I found extremely lacking. I think a better look could have been given by leaving many of these dreams out.

One other reason is a great danger in that when Christians too often treat experiences like these as events that seem common, then baby Christians who do not have such experiences are prone to wonder "What is wrong with me?" A great mistake in the church is that we often promise blessings that Jesus Himself never promised us.

I also get cautious when people talk about wanting to experience God. The reason is that too often it can look like in the church that people are seeking after a feeling and if that feeling is there, well then God is there, and if the counter feeling is there, then God is not there.

I often think of that church sign that I have seen on some churches that says "If you feel far from God, guess who moved!" I hate a sign like that. For someone who might not feel something for whatever reason, they get added on to that a nice helping of guilt as well which makes the problem even worse. Have we considered the book of Job? Who was closer to the heart of God in that book? Job or his friends? Who got the blessing of God in the end? Job or his friends?

Sometimes in the Christian walk one will have a strong awareness and feeling of God. When that happens, wonderful! Enjoy it! Celebrate it! Sometimes, one will not. When that happens, your duty is to serve. Service to God does not depend on how you feel but rather an act of will. Anyone can serve God when life is going well and you feel great. It's serving God when life is hard and you feel terrible and want to know if He's even there that is the greatest service.

Also, I found some of the Scriptural exegesis lacking. For instance, the Jeremiah 29 passage of "I know the plans I have for you" is not about you. It is about Israel going into a seventy year exile period and God saying He is not done with them yet and will rescue them from the hand of the enemy so they can continue to fulfill the covenant. Too often we take promises that were made for Israel in a specific situation and generalize them and make them personal to us today.

While at the end, he does give a good collection of Bible verses, though some of these I think are out of context, I wish there had been more focus and detailed looking at various passages on fear. I was under the impression I was getting a little snippet here and there and not really going deep.

I don't doubt this book will be helpful to some, but for me, the negatives were really too distracting over the positives.

Great book, came just when I needed it!

This is a great book to go with your
daily bible reading and prayer, have you
ever wondered why your afraid? Seemingly
no matter what you do you still feel fear?
Well Rabbi Schneider explains in depth that
fear is a evil spirit that is trying to control
and gives bible scriptures to support this.
but He also gives scriptures and prayers
along with the book to overcome these evil
powers from the enemy that try to stop and
Hinder God's best for our lives, I read the book
and said the prayers with Rabbi, and I can
say I feel more clear and joyful that I'm in
the hands of God, and there is no reason to
fear anything ever again, because nothing
can separate me from the Love of God!!

Excellent book

If you are suffering from worry and fear then 'Do Not Be Afraid' is the book for you. This book is full of encouraging Bible scripture and Rabbi Schneider's personal accounts of how he gained victory over fear with God's help. In addition there are helpful prayer examples one can use when talking to the Lord about our fears. I personally can testify that my blood pressure lowered and I felt God's peace when reading this book. Buy this book then pass it on to someone else who is struggling with fear. I believe you will be glad you bought it.

Testimonies of People Who Have Seen the After-Life

Bestselling author Roberts Liardon relates the accounts of four people who have had glimpses into the after-life in his book "Visions of Heaven." The stories begin with his own account of an open vision of a visit to heaven as a child. This testimony has been received by over a million people through the use of spoken and written presentations.

Liardon carefully explains four types of visions and angels: he also discusses the subjects of the rivers of life, the substance of praise, the throne room of God, unclaimed blessings and the river of life. He describes Jesus as Lord, Savior, and friend and the awareness of God's presence.

In Marietta Davis' account of her vision of heaven in the year 1848 she provides the reader with assurance of the absence of fear in heaven, no sorrow, or suffering. Rebecca Springer's vision tells of the beauty of heaven, the river of life, the mansion of heaven and of life in heaven. H. A. Baker and his wife while serving as missionaries opened Adullam Home for teenage beggar boys on the streets Kotchiu, China. These children were caught up in a vision to the city of God and testify of seeing Jesus on the Throne, much as He appeared to John on the Isle of Patmos.

Very Disappointing. Does not seem authentic.

I'm sorry, but if this is what Heaven is going to be like, I will be very disappointed. These stories describe nothing more than a higher form of natural happiness. Beautiful mansions, books to read, pretty flowers and perfect weather, etc., and virtually nothing of the Divine Union which is the very essence of Heaven.

People needing to walk from one place to another, needing to "adjust" to Heaven once they're there, needing to communicate by speaking and so forth. No differently than we do on earth.

St. Paul said "Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it entered into the mind of man what God has prepared for those who love Him."

That's the kind of Heaven I am longing for. A Heaven plunged into God Himself and sharing His life and way of Being. A Heaven beyond anything we can possibly imagine. That's the kind of heaven that truly awaits those who love God.

Gave Great Comfort and Reassurance to My Mother-in Law

I read this book to my mother-in-law who was on hospice. The testimonies brought great comfort and reassurance to both of us. We would read and reread chapters. We would ponder what it would be like to be in our heavenly home. We would talk about who would probably be the first person that would greet us there and try to imagine what it would be like to be with Jesus. The book impacted us so much so that I bought 60 books to give to family and friends at her memorial service on November 23, 2013. The whole case of books went that day! My prayer is that each book will bless those wondering about heaven and that they would come to Jesus and know His love for them!

Great book about how we all go through fiery trials. We are either in a fiery trial, heading for one and don't know it, or have been in one and need more understanding of how to get through the next one more successfully. God does give us the grace to go through.
